La presente investigación evaluó la sustitución parcial y total de harina de soya por levadura seca del género Saccharomyces en dietas para pollos de engorde Arbor Acres, con el propósito de reducir costos de alimentación y mejorar la disponibilidad de proteína de bajo costo. Se empleó una dieta tradicional como testigo y se establecieron niveles de sustitución del 25, 50, 75 y 100%, analizándose el desempeño productivo bajo condiciones controladas. Los resultados permitieron generar información técnica sobre el uso de microorganismos como fuente proteica alternativa, sin competencia directa con la alimentación humana. |
