La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de evaluar la relación entre el contenido de lisina y triptófano y el de zeína durante la germinación del grano de maíz (Zea mays L.) y su posible vinculación con el ciclo vegetativo de la planta. El estudio se llevó a cabo en laboratorio, utilizando métodos bioquímicos para la cuantificación de aminoácidos y proteínas, y análisis comparativos a lo largo de diferentes etapas de germinación. Los resultados indicaron que, conforme avanzó la germinación, los niveles de zeína disminuyeron mientras que lisina y triptófano aumentaron, evidenciando un patrón inverso relacionado con el metabolismo del grano y su implicación en el desarrollo inicial de la planta. |
