El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en la Asociación Nacional del Café -ANACAFÉ- en oficinas centrales, desarrollando proyectos e investigaciones en dos destinos diferentes. Mediante el diagnóstico realizado para la institución, proveyendo desde una vista macro como se distribuyen las actividades que se realizan, estableciendo la importancia de evaluar el desarrollo de los cafetales al sol con grama ya que esta técnica se incorporó hace dos años (aproximadamente) en la finca, siendo plantaciones completamente nuevas. Dicha técnica se está desarrollando en gran área de la finca. Los cafetales bajo sombra han sido la manera más convencional de trabajarse en Guatemala, para este caso se tomó una plantación de la misma para poder comparar rendimientos vegetativos, fertilidad del suelo en ambos sistemas, en el presente documento se encuentran detallados los resultados obtenidos en los cafetales ubicados en la zona de Villa Canales. |
