La presente investigación se realizó en nueve localidades del departamento de Jutiapa durante 1985, con el objetivo de evaluar cuatro cultivares promisorios de frijol por su tolerancia al virus del mosaico dorado, precocidad, rendimiento y estabilidad, comparándolos con las variedades criollas Rabia de Gato y un testigo local. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques completos al azar y análisis de varianza, prueba de Duncan y parámetros de estabilidad. Los resultados mostraron materiales estables, sin diferencias significativas entre variedades para tolerancia al virus. La línea 6 obtuvo el mayor rendimiento en siembras de primera (1,394.7 kg/ha) y la línea 1 en segunda (1,645.4 kg/ha), superando al testigo. |
