La presente investigación se realizó en la finca San Antonio Siguacán, municipio de Río Bravo, departamento de Suchitepéquez, con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de tres períodos de cosecha y tres velocidades de avance de la combinada sobre el daño mecánico y el poder germinativo de la semilla de soya. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques al azar con siete repeticiones, evaluando tres horarios de cosecha y velocidades de 3.0, 4.5 y 6.0 km/h. Los resultados evidenciaron que la disminución de la humedad del grano incrementó el daño mecánico y redujo el porcentaje de germinación. Asimismo, la velocidad de avance de 4.5 km/h produjo el menor daño mecánico y conservó en mayor medida la calidad fisiológica de la semilla. |
