La presente investigación se realizó en un bosque natural de Pinus oocarpa Schiede, ubicado en la finca Rincón del Sinaque, municipio de San Jerónimo, Baja Verapaz, con el objetivo de comparar la eficiencia de diferentes formas y tamaños de parcelas para inventarios forestales. Se empleó un diseño de muestreo aleatorio en cuatro estratos, evaluando 13 tratamientos mediante análisis de área basal, volumen, costo, exactitud, precisión y eficiencia, complementados con análisis de varianza y prueba de Tukey. Los resultados mostraron que la parcela circular de 1000 m² presentó la mayor exactitud, precisión y eficiencia promedio, mientras que las parcelas de dimensiones variables registraron el menor costo de muestreo. |
