La presente investigación se realizó en la comunidad Las Lomas, municipio de San Jacinto, departamento de Chiquimula, con el objetivo de evaluar 14 tratamientos para el control de babosas (Mollusca: Veronicellidae) en el cultivo de frijol y determinar la alternativa de mayor rentabilidad. Se empleó un diseño experimental con evaluación de extractos vegetales, manejo cultural y tratamiento convencional, mediante análisis de varianza, prueba de Tukey y análisis de rentabilidad. Los resultados evidenciaron que el extracto vegetal de Jacquinia aurantiaca proporcionó el mejor control de babosas sin causar fitotoxicidad, mientras que el tratamiento cultural registró el mayor rendimiento de grano por unidad de área. |
