La presente investigación se realizó para determinar la etapa de desarrollo y la frecuencia de corte que optimizaran el rendimiento y la calidad nutricional de Amaranthus hypochondriacus. La metodología consistió en un experimento con diseño de bloques al azar, tres tratamientos correspondientes a intervalos de corte de 30, 40 y 60 días, y ocho repeticiones, evaluando rendimiento de materia verde y seca, contenido de proteína foliar y variables agronómicas. Los resultados evidenciaron que los cortes cada 40 días presentaron el mejor desempeño integral, con elevados rendimientos de materia seca y proteína foliar, menor costo de producción y mayor rentabilidad en comparación con los demás tratamientos. |
