| Summary, etc | La presente investigación se realizó en el valle de La Fragua, departamento de Zacapa, y en el valle de Chiquimula, con el objetivo de determinar el tamaño y la forma óptima de parcela experimental para futuros ensayos de campo en cultivos de tomate y melón. La metodología consistió en el análisis de datos de rendimiento obtenidos en ensayos en blanco, utilizando los métodos de Máxima Curvatura Bivariada y Regresión Múltiple. El área experimental se dividió en unidades básicas agrupadas en distintas combinaciones para evaluar eficiencia estadística. Los resultados permitieron establecer parcelas óptimas para tomate entre 24 y 30 m² y para melón entre 27 y 75.6 m², ajustadas a las condiciones agroecológicas de la región. |
