La presente investigación se realizó en las partes altas del departamento de Quetzaltenango, con el objetivo de determinar agrosistemas que permitieran generar recomendaciones más precisas y de bajo riesgo para la fertilización nitrogenada, fosfórica y densidad de población en el cultivo de maíz. La metodología incluyó la caracterización de condiciones edafoclimáticas, evaluación de prácticas agronómicas y análisis de variables productivas en diferentes unidades agrícolas representativas. Se emplearon diseños experimentales y análisis estadísticos para establecer relaciones entre niveles de fertilización, densidad poblacional y rendimiento del cultivo. Los resultados identificaron agrosistemas homogéneos con respuestas diferenciadas a los nutrientes y densidades evaluadas, permitiendo definir recomendaciones técnicas específicas que optimizaron el rendimiento y redujeron el riesgo productivo en condiciones de altura. |
