La presente investigación se realizó en la región de Bárcena, Villa Nueva, con el objetivo de determinar el período crítico de interferencia entre malezas y el cultivo de frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), así como identificar las especies de mayor incidencia y el momento óptimo de control. La metodología consistió en un experimento de bloques al azar con 12 tratamientos y tres repeticiones durante 115 días, evaluándose el valor de importancia de las malezas y el rendimiento del cultivo. Los resultados identificaron a verdolaga, bledo, coyolillo, bermuda y chicalote como las malezas de mayor interferencia. Además, se determinó que el período crítico de competencia ocurrió entre los 35 y 70 días después de la siembra, siendo más rentable mantener el cultivo libre de malezas durante 50 días. |
