La presente investigación se realizó en el vivero regional del Instituto Nacional Forestal, ubicado en Salcajá, con el objetivo de evaluar alternativas químicas para el control de malezas en la producción de ciprés común (Cupressus lusitanica Miller) y reducir costos de vivero. La metodología consistió en un diseño experimental de bloques al azar con cinco repeticiones, evaluando oxifluorfeno, simazina, hexazinona y diurón en distintas dosis, comparados con control manual. Se registraron parámetros de control de malezas, selectividad y crecimiento del ciprés. Los resultados demostraron que oxifluorfeno y simazina presentaron mayor eficacia y selectividad, mientras hexazinona causó alta mortalidad. Además, el control químico resultó económicamente más eficiente que el control manual. |
