La presente investigación se realizó en el parcelamiento La Máquina, municipio de Cuyotenango, Suchitepéquez, con el objetivo de evaluar el comportamiento inicial de seis especies leguminosas forestales. La metodología consistió en un diseño de bloques al azar con cuatro repeticiones, evaluando sobrevivencia, altura y diámetro basal mediante mediciones periódicas y análisis estadístico. Los resultados mostraron mayores porcentajes de sobrevivencia en Gliricidia sepium (88%), Leucaena leucocephala (86%) y Dalbergia sissoo (82%), mientras que Sesbania grandiflora presentó el menor valor (7%); en crecimiento destacaron Leucaena leucocephala, Calliandra calothyrsus y Gliricidia sepium, con diferencias significativas. |
