La presente investigación se realizó en el Valle de la Fragua, Zacapa, en el Centro de Producción El Oasis del ICTA, con el objetivo de evaluar el control integrado de plagas en tomate. La metodología incluyó tres tratamientos: control integrado, control químico y testigo, bajo condiciones de campo, con muestreos poblacionales y evaluación de daño. Se analizaron parasitismo de Trichogramma pretiosum y efecto de Bacillus thuringiensis. Los resultados evidenciaron 84% de parasitismo en huevos de Heliothis, mortalidad larval por biocontrol, menor daño en frutos en control químico e integrado, y mayor rentabilidad en el manejo integrado en comparación con los otros tratamientos. |
