La presente investigación se realizó en el parcelamiento La Máquina, Guatemala, durante junio a octubre de 1981, con el objetivo de evaluar sistemas de cero y mínimo laboreo en el cultivo de maíz híbrido HB-47. Se empleó un diseño de parcelas divididas en bloques al azar con cuatro repeticiones, evaluando manejos de suelo, herbicidas y niveles de fertilización nitrogenada. Los resultados evidenciaron diferencias significativas entre tratamientos, con mayores rendimientos en cero laboreo respecto al sistema tradicional, mayor eficiencia del nitrógeno desde 30 kg/ha y superiores parámetros productivos. Asimismo, los mayores ingresos netos se obtuvieron con cero laboreo, destacando Paraquat y limpia manual como alternativas más rentables. |
