La presente investigación se realizó en la comunidad de Kakitul, municipio de Fray Bartolomé de las Casas, Alta Verapaz, con el objetivo de caracterizar las condiciones agrosocioeconómicas de los hogares. Se empleó una metodología descriptiva, mediante encuestas estructuradas, entrevistas a informantes clave y observación directa, considerando variables productivas, sociales y económicas. Los resultados evidenciaron sistemas agrícolas de subsistencia basados en maíz y frijol, bajos niveles de tecnificación, limitado acceso a mercados y servicios básicos, así como ingresos familiares reducidos. Asimismo, se identificó dependencia de la mano de obra familiar y escasa diversificación productiva en la comunidad. |
