La presente investigación se realizó en la cuenca del río Nahualate, Guatemala, donde se analizaron variables hidrológicas mediante revisión y procesamiento estadístico de registros históricos de precipitación, temperatura, evapotranspiración y escorrentía superficial. El estudio utilizó datos climáticos de 1970 a 1979 y caudales de ocho años hidrológicos comprendidos entre mayo de 1972 y abril de 1980, provenientes de la estación San Mauricio. Los resultados permitieron caracterizar la dinámica hidrológica de la cuenca, estableciendo patrones temporales de las variables y su relación con el comportamiento del caudal registrado durante el periodo. |
