La presente investigación se realizó en la Sección Sabanal del anexo El Volcán, Finca Concepción, municipio de Escuintla, Guatemala, con el objetivo de evaluar diez herbicidas solos y/o en mezcla en aplicaciones pre y post-emergentes para el control de malezas en café (Coffea arabica var. Caturra) de dos años. Se empleó una metodología experimental con diferentes tratamientos y dosis por hectárea, evaluando su efectividad sobre malezas predominantes de hoja ancha y gramíneas. Los resultados indicaron que Velpar K3, Gesatop Z-500 y Karmex presentaron mayor control en pre-emergencia, mientras que Velpar K3, Roundup y Gesatop Z-500 + 2,4-D destacaron en post-emergencia, con efectos residuales superiores a 70 días. |
