La presente investigación se realizó en la región del río Usumacinta, municipio de La Libertad, Petén, con el objetivo de evaluar el comportamiento agronómico de ocho variedades comerciales de arroz (Oryza sativa L.). Se utilizó una metodología experimental de campo bajo un diseño estadístico comparativo, considerando variables de crecimiento, rendimiento y adaptación a las condiciones edafoclimáticas de la zona. Los resultados mostraron diferencias significativas entre variedades, identificándose aquellas con mayor rendimiento y mejor adaptación, lo que permitió determinar materiales con mayor potencial productivo para su recomendación en la región. |
