La presente investigación se realizó en plantaciones bananeras de Guatemala, con el objetivo de evaluar cuatro nematicidas como alternativa para el control químico de nematodos en el cultivo del banano (Musa sapientum L.). Se aplicó una metodología experimental de campo bajo un diseño estadístico comparativo, evaluando la reducción poblacional de nematodos, el vigor radicular y el rendimiento del cultivo. Los resultados demostraron diferencias significativas entre tratamientos, identificándose nematicidas con mayor eficacia en la disminución de poblaciones y mejora del desarrollo radicular, lo cual se reflejó en incrementos del rendimiento, evidenciando su viabilidad como opción de manejo químico. |
