La presente investigación se realizó en la región nor-oriental de Guatemala, con el objetivo de identificar las principales plantas melíferas desde un enfoque taxonómico y ecológico. Se aplicó una metodología de campo y gabinete que incluyó muestreos botánicos, colecta e identificación taxonómica de especies, y caracterización de su distribución y época de floración. Los resultados permitieron registrar las especies melíferas predominantes, su abundancia relativa y su importancia ecológica como fuentes de néctar y polen para la actividad apícola regional. |
