La presente investigación se realizó en unidades productivas de cítricos de la costa sur de Guatemala, con el objetivo de determinar el nivel tecnológico empleado en su cultivo. Se utilizó una metodología descriptiva mediante encuestas estructuradas, entrevistas a productores y observación directa de prácticas agronómicas, recopilándose información sobre manejo del suelo, fertilización, riego, control fitosanitario y cosecha. Los resultados evidenciaron predominio de tecnologías tradicionales, uso limitado de prácticas tecnificadas y variabilidad en la adopción de insumos y manejo según el tamaño y capacidad productiva de las unidades evaluadas. |
