| Summary, etc | La presente investigación se realizó en Guatemala para evaluar la influencia de la alimentación artificial en la producción apícola durante periodos de escasez de alimentos naturales. Se aplicó un diseño experimental comparando colonias de abejas alimentadas con soluciones artificiales frente a colonias control, midiendo parámetros de producción de miel, fuerza de colonia y supervivencia. Los datos fueron analizados mediante estadística descriptiva e inferencial para determinar diferencias entre tratamientos. Los resultados mostraron que la alimentación artificial incrementó significativamente la producción de miel, mantuvo la fuerza de las colonias y mejoró la tasa de supervivencia durante la escasez de recursos florales, aportando beneficios al manejo apícola. |
