La presente investigación se realizó en el parcelamiento La Máquina, Suchitepéquez, en el año 1979, con el objetivo de evaluar seis épocas de siembra y cuatro variedades de frijol común (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) de hábito determinado; para ello, se utilizó un diseño experimental de bloques completos al azar con arreglo factorial; posteriormente, se analizaron variables fenológicas y de rendimiento, los resultados indicaron diferencias significativas entre épocas de siembra y variedades, observándose mayores rendimientos en épocas intermedias y en determinadas variedades mejor adaptadas; la interacción de la época por variedad influyó directamente en la productividad del cultivo. |
