La presente investigación se realizó en el valle de Quetzaltenango y en el departamento de Totonicapán, con el objetivo de evaluar los principales factores que inciden en la producción de maíz y trigo en dichas regiones. La metodología consistió en estudios de campo y análisis comparativos bajo un enfoque experimental y estadístico, considerando variables edafoclimáticas, manejo agronómico y rendimiento de los cultivos. Los resultados evidenciaron diferencias significativas en la respuesta productiva de ambos cultivos asociadas a los factores evaluados, identificándose prácticas de manejo y condiciones ambientales que influyeron de manera determinante en el rendimiento, aportando información técnica relevante para la optimización de la producción agrícola en la zona. |
