La presente investigación se realizó en condiciones controladas y de campo, donde se evaluaron diversas fuentes de resistencia a la roya del frijol causada por Uromyces phaseoli var. typica. Empleó inoculación dirigida, caracterización de síntomas y clasificación de niveles de reacción, lo que permitió comparar materiales genéticos. Los resultados mostraron diferencias significativas en severidad y tipo de respuesta, identificándose líneas con resistencia estable y otras con susceptibilidad marcada, por lo que se determinaron genotipos con potencial para programas de mejoramiento. |
