La presente investigación se desarrolló en el Altiplano Occidental de Guatemala con el objetivo de evaluar la eficacia de diferentes herbicidas en el control de malezas en el cultivo de trigo. Se utilizó un diseño experimental comparativo, empleando como testigo el herbicida 2,4-D y aplicando distintas dosis para determinar su rendimiento y eficiencia agronómica y económica. Los resultados demostraron que el control adecuado de malezas incrementó significativamente la productividad del cultivo, al reducir la competencia por nutrientes, agua y luz, contribuyendo así a mejorar la disponibilidad alimentaria y generar oportunidades de empleo en la región. |
