La presente investigación se realizó en Guatemala con el propósito de analizar la problemática generada por la carencia de instalaciones privadas de almacenamiento y conservación de granos básicos a escala comercial. La metodología utilizada consistió en un análisis descriptivo de la situación del productor agrícola, considerando tanto las limitaciones de infraestructura como los efectos económicos derivados de la venta inmediata de la cosecha. Asimismo, se evaluó la relación entre el crédito agrícola estatal y el proceso de comercialización, identificando la falta de correspondencia entre ambos factores. Los resultados evidenciaron que la ausencia de instalaciones de almacenamiento obligó a los agricultores a vender sus productos inmediatamente después de la cosecha, lo que provocó una disminución en los precios, afectando directamente sus ingresos y la economía nacional. |
