| Summary, etc | La presente investigación se realizó en la Aldea Entre Ríos, ubicada en el Departamento de Izabal, muestreos realizados en las fincas de COBIGUA, sobre el daño que el trips de la flor causa al cultivo de banano, por lo que se evaluaron tres tratamientos, en el primer tratamiento se embolsó el racimo en estado prematuro (estado en el que la inflorescencia no tiene ninguna mano expuesta al ambiente) con la bolsa lechosa con microporos, en el segundo tratamiento se embolsó el racimo en estado prematuro con la bolsa dursban y en el tercer tratamiento se inyectó el insecticida imidacloprid en la inflorescencia recién emergida por el boquete floral. Utilizando el diseño experimental de bloques al azar, el tratamiento que presentó mejor control del trips de la flor en el cultivo de banano es la inyección del insecticida imidacloprid, presentado una incidencia de 81.25%, y una intensidad de 23.68%. |
