La presente investigación se realizó en terrenos agrícolas de Guatemala, con el objetivo de analizar la influencia de la humedad del suelo en la preparación del mismo. Se utilizó un método de observación y análisis comparativo de las condiciones de labranza en diferentes niveles de humedad. Los resultados mostraron que, cuando el suelo estuvo demasiado seco o demasiado húmedo, se produjeron malas labores de aradura, desgaste prematuro de la maquinaria, pérdida de tiempo, altos costos y bajos rendimientos, y cuando la humedad fue adecuada, el trabajo se efectuó en menor tiempo, con mejor calidad de preparación y mayores rendimientos agrícolas. |
