La presente investigación se realizó en la región triguera de Guatemala con el objetivo de enfrentar el desafío de la baja producción de trigo frente a la creciente demanda nacional. Se utilizó una metodología basada en la experimentación con fertilización nitrogenada, considerando la dinámica del nutrimento en el suelo y las épocas de mayor demanda del cultivo. Los resultados mostraron que el nitrógeno fue el factor más limitante en el rendimiento, por lo que se planteó un sistema más eficiente de manejo y aplicación fraccionada de este fertilizante, el cual permitió optimizar los recursos disponibles y ofrecer alternativas viables para pequeños y medianos agricultores. |
