La presente investigación se desarrolló en Guatemala y empleó un método de observación directa y análisis descriptivo, enfocado exclusivamente en los bosques de coníferas. Se examinó su importancia económica y su valor como principal patrimonio natural del país, así como la necesidad urgente de aplicar una política dasocrática para su aprovechamiento y conservación. Los resultados evidenciaron que estos bosques no solo constituyeron un recurso fundamental para la economía nacional, sino también un elemento vital para la preservación ambiental, resaltando la relevancia de aplicar los conocimientos académicos en beneficio de su protección y manejo sostenible. |
